Booking Christmas Discos & Entertainment  - Am I too late?

Hiring a disco or band for a Christmas party can be stressful if the task has been delegated to you. If you book the wrong band or disco you have to face your colleagues on Monday morning or you may not even be able to find someone suitable with availability. Many companies realise that if they want to guarantee a specific band or disco then they need to re-book immeditately after the last performance (often while the band or disco is packing away). This is also the case for New Year's Eve entertainment.  August is usually the time our phone gets busy with Christmas band and disco bookings. This is also the time many venues start marketing their Christmas party nights. 

If you have left things late, DON'T WORRY, there are many reasons why professional quality bands and discos may still have availability. For instance a band may have been working abroad or on a cruise ship for the summer and be back for a period before departing again. Other bands may not have been established for so long (even though each band member is a seasoned professional) therefore they're more likely to have dates free. Some bands get cancellations close to the date or have dates re-scheduled. Usually we are the first people to know and we're very resourceful, working closely with many bands, DJ's and trusted affiliates. We know instantly which quality bands and DJ's have availability. The worst case scenario is you may need to pay a little bit extra to cover travel expenses should a band or DJ need to come from further afield.

Tips for booking Christmas party bands and discos.

• It's never too early to book your Christmas entertainment, band or disco as professional discos and bands take bookings years ahead.
• Be flexible with your Christmas party date. Most people want Fridays and Saturdays so booking your party midweek greatly increases the chances of your 1st choice entertainment being available.
• Hold your Christmas party in January. This is becoming very popular as many people have lots of social engagements over Christmas. Holding your office party after Christmas gives staff something to look forward to in January and is a great morale booster once everyone is back at work. Plus you can get some great special offers in January.
• Use a booking/management company (such as ourselves). If we can't help you personally then we have many trusted affiliates who can throw the net further.
