Melissa is another of our 'world class' harpists for hire and we're honoured to represent her. She is an incredibly popular harpist for weddings and events as well as being a busy freelance orchestral harp player.
Melissa read music at King’s College London, where she graduated with honours and received the LRAM teaching diploma with distinction. She went on to complete a master of music in performance at the Royal College of Music leading her into being an active orchestral musician. Since then she's performed with the King's College London Symphony Orchestra, London Firebird Orchestra, the Aldwych Sinfonia, the RCM Symphony and many others, taking her all over the country and abroad. Highlights include performing at Buckingham Palace for the Queen’s Coronation Festival and being chosen to provide the music for HRH the Prince of Wales at the Royal College of Music President’s visit. Melissa has also performed at the Victoria & Albert Museum, National Gallery and at fashion shows for Dolce & Gabbana.
As with all our incredible musicians, the fact they are at the pinnacle of musicianship doesn't mean we are not competitive. We keep our musicians busy and know their schedules so they give us competitive rates but they do get incredibly booked up.
