Charity Ball

Music on arrival to a charity ball makes guests feel special as nothing accompanies a champagne reception or Pimms on the lawn better than good company and good music. The options are endless. Once the formalities are over what better way to let your hair down than dancing to a live band or disco. All our party bands have huge mixed repertoires to keep everyone dancing and are on hand to assist with microphones and announcements if required.

Masonic Function

Many of our acts have prior experience of Masonic protocols and so already familiar with the ladies song, sung grace, National Anthem and other popular requests. Microphones are always made available by our bands and DJ’s as we appreciate there are many traditional formalities (such as taking wine) where technical assistance with microphones is offered to help make everything run smoothly.   

Product Launch, Exhibition, Open Day

Whatever ambiance you’re trying to achieve, be it serene and relaxed or eye catching and dazzling, the right music can really enhance the atmosphere. Put your ideas to our experts so we can make suggestions based on our wealth of previous experience.   

After Party

Whether you’ve come to the end of a works training course, trade exhibition or departmental project, staff always appreciate a good party to mark and celebrate their achievement. Parties are always enhanced by music so live bands and discos are always popular choices especially when you have a mixture of ages and departments. 

Tribute Night

With the right promotion, tribute nights are a great crowd puller. We’ve noticed the tribute market is full of mediocre singers “having a go” so we’ve gone to great lengths to find the best (we’ve now seen nine Abba tributes but only put our name to two). Booking a tribute is also becoming a very popular wedding present as a surprise for the bride and/or groom and is a wonderful surprise on the day.

Military Functions

We’ve a lot of experience of military functions both in the UK and abroad. All our musicians know to allow plenty of extra time for security checks prior to entering a military base and are able to cooperate fully in providing all requested security information & identification  in advance.

Casino/Bond Evening

We believe there are 23 Bond films but some would argue there are official and unofficial titles – either way there are not enough songs to fill an entire evening. The way we find Bond evenings work best is to have the Bond themes performed as part of a welcome drinks reception and then through the main dinner before handing over to a band or disco. If you were considering a casino style evening (without a sit down meal) then the Bond songs would be interspersed with songs in a similar vein to allow a longer performance.  

School Prom

Most School Prom functions either book a DJ (often with club experience) or a young band so their repertoire doesn’t alienate anyone. Teenagers who are ‘too cool for school’ are probably the hardest age group to get dancing so the music choice and timing is critical. 

Restaurant

Live music when promoted correctly is a great draw to boost trade on quieter evenings. A solo singer, sax player or tribute can really add to the dining experience. Whether you are looking for a ‘one off’ occasion or an entire entertainment programme, please give us a call so we can make suggestions based on your particular clientele. 

Hotels

Most of our acts are suitable for ‘one off’ functions or short-term residencies. If you are looking for longer contracts please get in touch so we can advise you on the acts with the biggest repertoires so that longer staying guests always have something new to listen to.
